Our support team will use these credentials to log into your Aegis control panel and link your Online Giving account to Aegis. These details are stored securely in our password vault for future support if needed. Once the integration is complete, your funds and sub-funds will be linked to Aegis, and you will receive a confirmation email.
Updating Funds/Sub-Funds with Matching Aegis Donation Fund and Appeal
Once your Aegis integration is set up, you will need to ensure that your Online Giving funds and sub-funds are mapped correctly to Aegis funds and appeals. Follow the steps below to update these mappings:
- Log in to your Online Giving control panel.
- Click on "Funds" from the left navigation menu.
- Click the gear icon next to the fund you want to manage.
- Select Edit Fund from the dropdown menu.
- From the Aegis Fund dropdown, choose the correct Aegis fund.

When a donation is made, Online Giving checks for an existing donor record in Aegis using the Aegis Partner ID. If no match is found, a new donor record is created within Aegis after the donation is completed, ensuring that only necessary records are created in Aegis.
This automatic matching process streamlines donor management and eliminates the need for manual data entry.
Automatic Donation Recording with Aegis
Once a donation is approved through the payment gateway, Online Giving queues the donation for recording in Aegis. This process happens in the background and retries automatically for up to 12 hours in the event of an issue. Once the donation is successfully recorded, the Aegis Invoice ID is saved within the donation record in Online Giving.
In case a donation fails to record in Aegis after multiple attempts, a Retry Recording button will appear in the donation details for manual retry by an administrator.
