Elevate Your Church’s Online Store with Product Pages from OnlineGiving.org

Managing your church’s online giving or store can be a complex task, especially when it comes to keeping everything organized and engaging. Whether you’re preparing for seasonal campaigns, specific events, or regular offerings, showcasing the right products at the right time is key. This is where OnlineGiving.org's Product Pages feature comes into play, offering a customizable tool that enhances your church’s online shopping experience.

So, what exactly are Product Pages? These customizable pages give you complete control over what’s featured on your shopping cart’s home page. Imagine running a fall fundraiser or a holiday gift drive—Product Pages allow you to highlight those specific items, whether they are products, donations, or event tickets, right on the front page. And once the season ends, you can easily switch the page to feature the next big event or campaign. This tool brings flexibility and personalization to your online store.

Each Product Page is designed to showcase collections of items along with visually engaging hero banners. These banners can link directly to certain products or entire collections, providing a seamless browsing experience for your members. This targeted shopping experience ensures that whether someone is looking for a specific item or just browsing, they’ll be directed to what you want to feature.

Building Your Product Pages

The Product Page Builder is the central tool for creating these dynamic pages. When you’re logged into the control panel, simply click the “Create New Page” button to start the process. If you’re working with existing pages, click on the gear icon and select “edit” to update them.

The page is built in key sections. The General Information section allows you to set the page title and description, which are displayed to your users. For example, you might title it “Spring Campaign” if you’re preparing for a new season. Then, in the Organization section, you decide whether this page serves as the home page for your store and add tags to help users find it through search. It’s all about making the navigation experience as smooth as possible for your members.

Next, the Media section is where the visual elements come together. This is where you can add eye-catching banners or hero images at the top of the page. If you have multiple banners, they’ll be displayed in a slider format, with each image linked to a product, event, or another page. This section gives you control over how users navigate through your store, directing them to the most important areas.

Lastly, the Page Collections section allows you to group products into themed collections, making it easier for your members to find what they’re looking for without having to sift through unrelated items.

Once everything is set up, simply hit “save”, and your new Product Page goes live! If you need to make any updates, you can easily hop back into the control panel, search for your page, and make changes as needed.
