OnlineGiving.org Support Chat is a powerful AI tool integrated into the Control Panel to help church administrators, pastors, and staff members with various giving-related questions and tasks. Support Chat can instantly answer your questions, assist with donor management, generate email and sermon templates, and more.

You can access Support Chat in two ways:

  1. Top of the Control Panel: Simply type your question in the “Need Help? Ask any question” field at the top of the Control Panel.
  2. Knowledge Base: Navigate to the Support Chat option in the Knowledge Base and start asking your questions directly in the chat window.

How to Use OnlineGiving.org Support Chat

  1. Ask from the Control Panel: At the top of the OnlineGiving.org Control Panel, there’s a search bar labeled “Need Help? Ask any question.” Type your question here, and Support Chat will generate a response immediately.
  2. Access from the Knowledge Base: Navigate to Support Chat in the left-side Knowledge Base menu. From here, you can type any question into the chat box, such as "How do I set up recurring donations?" or "Help me write a sermon on generosity."
  3. Receive Instant Help: Support Chat will provide a detailed response, pulling information directly from the Knowledge Base or generating custom content like sermon drafts or donor migration steps.

Switching to Human Support

If Support Chat doesn’t fully resolve your issue, you can easily switch to live support:

  1. Click “Talk to Human”: This button appears below any AI-generated response. Clicking it will open a chat window with live support agents.
  2. Send Your Question: The system will auto-fill your message based on your previous interaction with Support Chat, so you won’t need to retype anything.
