New! ICON CMO Bulk Resubmit Donations Pending Recording
Location: OnlineGiving.org Control Panel > Transactions

Church administrators using ICON CMO can now easily bulk resubmit donations pending recording directly from the OnlineGiving.org Control Panel. This feature streamlines the process for resubmitting failed donation recordings, saving time and effort.

How it works:

1. Navigate to Control Panel > Transactions.
2. Click the Blue Filter Button.
3. Select ICON CMO Pending from the options.
4. Click Yes - Bulk Submit to resubmit all pending donations.

Important Details:

• Once a donation is completed, it is automatically queued for recording in ICON CMO.
• If the recording fails (e.g., due to invalid fund/sub-fund information or an unavailable external service), the system retries automatically at increasing intervals over a 12-hour period.
• After 12 hours of unsuccessful attempts, donations remain in the "Pending" state for manual review and resubmission.

This enhancement ensures better management of pending donations, reduces manual workload, and provides greater transparency for church administrators managing ICON CMO integrations.

New Update: MinistryPlatform Default Campus ID Now Applied to Both MP Batch & MP Deposit

We are excited to announce an enhancement to the OnlineGiving.org MinistryPlatform integration. The MP Default Campus ID (if configured) will now be applied to both MP Batch and MP Deposit records. Previously, this setting was only applied to the MP Deposit record.

• What’s New?
  Moving forward, churches with a configured MP Default Campus ID will see this ID automatically applied to new deposit records, ensuring consistency between MP Batch and MP Deposit records.

• Why It Matters:
  This feature is particularly beneficial for churches managing multiple OnlineGiving.org giving websites connected to a single MinistryPlatform instance. By ensuring donations are recorded with the appropriate default campus, it simplifies financial tracking and reporting.

• How It Works:

  • The MP Default Campus ID is an optional setting that remains disabled by default.
  • When enabled, this ID will apply to all newly created MP Batch and Deposit records.

• Who Should Use This?
  Churches with multiple giving websites pointing to the same MinistryPlatform instance that require donations to be associated with a specific campus.
