OnlineGiving.org > Cash, Papercheck & Scanned Check > MinistryPlatform Batch Naming Improvements
We are pleased to inform you that an update has been implemented to enhance the naming convention for QuickEntry (Cash & Papercheck) and Scanned Check transactions that are pushed into MinistryPlatform by OnlineGiving.org. Going forward, the OnlineGiving.org QuickEntry or Scanned Check Batch ID will be included in the MP Batch name to avoid the merging of batches with similar administrator-named titles. Please refer to the example below for the updated MP Batch naming convention for QuickEntry and Scanned Check transaction batches.
Naming Convention:
OnlineGiving.org {Batch Type} {Batch Date} ({Batch ID} {Abbrievated Batch Name})
Example:
Batch Name: Sunday Service
Batch Type: Cash Batch
Batch Date: 2/4/2024
MP Batch Name: OnlineGiving.org Cash Batch 02-04-2024 (1234 Sund...ervice)
