Important MinistryPlatform Automatic Batching Updates
We recently received feedback from MinistryPlatform asking for the automatic batching feature to be adjusted to delay recording batches until after the day of the transaction. MinistryPlatform indicated the goal was to avoid confusion with deposit records before a batch was ready to finalize which lines up with MP product training. We're pleased to report an update is now deployed that adjusts the recording of batches with deposit records to the day after the transaction is completed. Moving forward, batches for new transactions will be created the day after the transaction is processed. Similar to before, the batch will be created with an associated deposit record. However, unlike before, batches will now contain a finalization date. It's important to note that automatic batching is not enabled by default.
