FellowshipOne API Integration Update – Automatic Email Truncation
We are excited to announce an enhancement to the OnlineGiving.org FellowshipOne API integration that improves email handling and ensures seamless data synchronization.
During our integration process, we discovered that FellowshipOne’s API has an undocumented 48-character limit on email addresses. To prevent errors and improve compatibility, we have enhanced our FellowshipOne API integration with an automatic email truncation feature.
What’s New?
- Automatic Truncation: Any email address exceeding 48 characters will now be automatically truncated before being inserted into FellowshipOne, preventing any email length-related errors.
- Seamless Data Matching: The improved algorithm ensures that new individuals and email updates are processed correctly within the FellowshipOne system.
- Consistent Behavior: As before, unknown email addresses in OnlineGiving.org will not be updated or added to new email communication records within FellowshipOne.
