*New* OnlineGiving.org Control Panel Custom Form "Set Payment Description" Action
We're pleased to report a feature enhancement is now live for the OnlineGiving.org Control Panel Custom Form Builder. A new custom form action is now available called "Set Payment Description." Church administrators can apply a custom payment description to the form transaction record if the custom form accepts payment or donation. The goal of the feature is to allow church administrators to apply a custom gift or payment description into the transaction record from a custom form. For most of our ChMS integrations, the gift description can be included on the contribution record, making it useful for an alternative method of getting custom form fields into the ChMS besides the other custom form integrated actions we offer. Below is a screenshot preview of the new feature in the OnlineGiving.org control panel. The new feature is available globally for all churches with access to custom forms.
