Aplos Churches Optionally Record Cover-the-Fee Portion into Dedicated Contribution
We're pleased to report a new feature available to Aplos churches that can optionally record the cover-the-fee portion of a donation into a dedicated Aplos contribution under a global cover-the-fee Aplos purpose. Once enabled, any donation moving forward where the donor opted to cover-the-fee will have two contributions in Aplos. The first contribution will be for the donation core amount under the donor select fund purpose. The second contribution will be for the cover-the-fee amount under the global (church-defined) cover-the-fee purpose. It's important to note that cover-the-fee amounts are tax-deductible and should be thought of as a way for donors to help offset the processing cost.
