TouchPoint Contribution Recording to Include Gift Type in Contribution Notes Fields
An update is now live that updates the TouchPoint contribution recording integration to include the gift type such as One Time, Weekly, Every 2 Weeks, Twice Monthly (1st & 15th), Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly in the contribution notes field. Moving forward, all donations recorded into TouchPoint will now have a contribution note in the format of "OnlineGiving.org Gift Type: {GIFT_TYPE}" where {GIFT_TYPE} is one of the following; One Time, Weekly, Every 2 Weeks, Twice Monthly (1st & 15th), Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly. The goal of the update is to add gift-type information into the TouchPoint contribution record.
BlackPulp MinistryPlatform Custom Portal Single Sign-On Now Supported
An update is now live that adds support for single sign-on into the custom BlackPulp MinistryPlatofrm Custom Portal for contribution statement and accessing legacy recurring giving for migration purposes. Kindly note this update only applies to those MP church's using BlackBulp's custom MP Portal and not the stock MP Portal or the MP widgets. Embedded Giving Updated to Support Latest Authentication Flow from MinistryPlatform Widgets
We're pleased to report an update is now live that updates OnlineGiving.org with enhanced support for MinistryPlatform Widget's latest authentication updates. The update enhances the embedded giving's MP Widget authentication to support MP's new "cache_token" flow for faster recognition of the MP Widget authentication token. Additionally, we've updated the embedded giving to detect the MP authentication token login automatically and for the embedded giving to force logout the end user accordingly. Finally, it was also to allow churches to use the "guest giving" embed page as the primary with automatic detection on MP login to display the donor's saved payment methods. If you are a MinistryPlatform church that uses OnlineGiving.org's embedded giving with MP Website Widgets, please reach out to support@onlinegiving.org so we may review your installation and update it to the latest version.

- The OnlineGiving.org embed.js script tag must load before the MPWidgets.js script tag to take advantage of the latest update.
- You may now place the MPWidgets.js script tag into your website's "head" section before the MPWidgets.js script tag.
- If you are using "?v=" or "?cb=" in your embed script tag "src" attribute. Please update that value with the current date to load the latest changes.
- If you are using the "async" script tag attribute, please remove it to ensure the browser loads and executes embed.js script before MPWidgets.js
- If, for any reason, the embed is not functioning correctly, please reach out to support@onlinegiving.org for a free review/installation check.
