Newly Enhanced Smart Address Component – An Even Smarter, Faster Giving Experience!
At OnlineGiving.org, we are continually focused on making donor interactions as seamless and frictionless as possible. One of our design principles is to request essential information only when needed—and to do so in a way that is intuitive, efficient, and even enjoyable for users.
Today, we’re excited to announce major enhancements to our Smart Address Component:

More Compact, More Efficient: The address input field like before appears only when necessary—such as when address information is missing or requires verification—keeping the donor experience clean and uncluttered.

Single-Line Smart Entry: Donors can now input their entire address on a single line, with real-time USPS-verified suggestions appearing as they type. This greatly speeds up the process and reduces errors.

New Address? No Problem!: For donors whose addresses are too new to appear in the USPS database, the component offers an easy "expand to full address" option. Donors can quickly open up traditional multi-field entry if needed.

Thoughtful Design for Speed: Whether using the single-line quick entry or full address form, the new streamlined layout dramatically reduces visual complexity, resulting in faster completion times and higher donor satisfaction.
