Text Giving Updated to Send Help Message to Inbound Messages Over 200 Characters
An update is now deployed to send out the send a help message to inbound text giving messages over 200 characters that are not intended for chatbot conversations or auto-responders. The goal is to avoid processing lengthy messages over 200 characters for text giving as it's likely donor confusion is involved.
New Ability to Optionally add Short Description and Icon to Funds/Sub-Funds
We're pleased to announce the fund feature has been enhanced to allow church administrators the ability to optionally add a short description and icon to any fund or sub-fund. The OnlineGiving.org platform will display the fund's short description and icon on the fund picker display when they are present for any fund (or sub-fund). Kindly note these new fields are optional. The goal of the update is to allow church administrators to display a short description and visual icon on the fund picker while at the same time keeping the primary donation form as clean as possible.
