NEW OnlineGiving.org Rock RMS > Mobile Phone Number Saved into Rock after Transaction
We are excited to announce that a new update is available, which will save the donor's phone number in their Rock RMS profile automatically after they complete a donation on the OnlineGiving.org mobile platform. Please note that Rock RMS can only accommodate one phone number slot, so the update has been designed intelligently to prevent any conflicts. The update will first check if the donor's phone number is on the Rock RMS person profile. If it does, no further action will be taken. Moreover, if a phone number is present on the Rock RMS person profile, the update will skip the process and not overwrite it. However, if the phone number slot is empty in Rock, the update will seamlessly save the donor's phone number into Rock RMS. This design ensures that data is added to Rock RMS without overwriting existing data. If the church wishes to overwrite the donor's phone number, they can reach out to support@onlinegiving.org and let us know. We have a special flag that can be enabled on a per-church basis to allow the overwrite of the phone number.

We are delighted to inform you that a new update is now live for the OnlineGiving.org Custom Form Builder MinistryPlatform Group Recording integration action. This update brings a new option that empowers church administrators to either overwrite or append "Notes" on an existing active MP Group Participation record. The primary goal of this update is to enable custom forms to optionally update or overwrite the group participation "Notes" field based on a custom form submission when an existing "active" group participation record is found. As always, if there is no existing group participation record, a new one will be created.

The primary goal of this update is to enable the chatbot integration to optionally update or overwrite the group participation "Notes" field based on a completed chatbot conversation when an existing "active" group participation record is found. As always, if there is no existing group participation record, a new one will be created.
