OnlineGiving.org Retroactive Checkup of MP Widget Payments within the last 60 Days

We're pleased to report in light of our recent feature enhancement to the MP Widget Payment checkup (fixer) feature; we have queued all MP Widget Payments completed within the last 60 days on our platform to be checked again. The church requires no action as the double-check was performed for all MinistryPlatform churches using OnlineGiving.org for MP Widget Payments. The goal of the recheck was to allow for any invoices that previously did not qualify for automatic fixing to be checked again and for any missing MP payment records to be applied. While the source of the issue that caused missing MP payment records did not originate from OnlineGiving.org, we are happy to do this for our MinistryPlatform customers to automatically locate and resolve these invoices to save churches time and resources. Should you have any questions, please reach out to support@onlinegiving.org

New Automatic Removal of ACH Bank Rejected Payment Methods with a "Cancelled" Status

We're pleased that OnlineGiving.org will now automatically locate and remove any ACH payment method that is returned as bank rejected with a "Cancelled" status. ACH payment methods that are returned with a "Cancelled" status should not be retried as the ACH clearing house flags them from that point forward to be declined. The feature will scan daily for any new ACH bank rejection with a "Cancelled" status and automatically remove the associated payment method from the donor's account to prevent it from being used again.

Further, when viewing a one-time or recurring transaction, the OnlineGiving.org control panel will now display a message letting the church administrator know that the system removed the payment method due to the ACH "Cancelled" rejection. For your convenience, we've included screenshot previews of the messages below.

New Support for Dedicated Rock RMS Transaction Batches for OnlineGiving.org Accounts with Multiple Donation Processors

We're pleased to report that an update is now live for OnlineGiving.org Rock RMS churches with multiple donation processors configured for their giving website. Typically a Rock RMS church with two donation processors configured would be a church that desires to accept donations for a secondary ministry that requires a separate bank deposit due or similar. The update's goal is to allow separate Rock RMS transaction batches to be created based on each donation processor. Doing so allows the Rock RMS batch totals match each separate donation processor deposit for a specific date. Before the update, the OnlineGiving.org integration was grouping transactions from both donation processors into the same Rock RMS batch. It's important to note the update still includes the OnlineGiving.org Rock RMS batch naming convention of creating batches based on date and payment type. The update extends this to include a payment processor, payment type, and date when batching. If you are a Rock RMS church that does not have multiple donation processors, this update does not apply to your account.

OnlineGiving.org Quick Entry Cash and Check Batching Updated to allow Donations of $0.01 or Higher

An update is now live to the OnlineGiving.org Control Panel Batching Quick Entry feature to allow donation contributions of $0.01 or higher. Before the update, a $1.01 or higher donation value was the minimum required for quick entry batch donations. Church administrators may now enter donations as low as $0.01 from the quick entry in honor of the widow's mite.
