NEW Automatic TouchID/FaceID Sign-in Prompt for Returning Givers & E-Commerce Shoppers
Exciting news! A new TouchID/FaceID update is live, bringing fantastic convenience to repeat givers or shoppers. This feature automatically detects whether a guest user has a registered TouchID/FaceID for their device. With this update, guest users will now receive a seamless login prompt on any guest page they visit. Users can conveniently verify their identity using their registered biometric TouchID or FaceID and gain instant access to the authenticated version of the page. The new automatic biometric (TouchID/FaceID) prompt works for all OnlineGiving.org giving and shopping cart guest pages. With this latest update, repeat users with biometrics can quickly log in to any guest page without visiting the "Sign in with TouchID" page.
It's important to note that if the guest user declines the biometric sign-in prompt, they will not be automatically prompted again until they use the "Sign-in with TouchID" feature. This design is to respect users who decline the biometric login and the platform will not prompt them again with biometric login unless they specifically choose the "Sign-in with TouchID" feature.
