OnlineGiving.org Control Panel > Filter by ChMS Pending Recording > Bulk Queue Feature: Updated to Avoid Double Queuing of Recurring Donations for Same Day
An update is now live to the OnlineGiving.org Control Panel > Filter by ChMS Pending Recording > Bulk Queue Donations Pending Recording feature. Specifically, the update changes the bulk queue feature to no longer include donations from recurring donations that were processed the same day within (10 hours) of the bulk queue request. Technically speaking, the goal of the update is to avoid an extremely rare scenario in which a control panel administrator could inadvertently bulk queue recurring donations in the morning at the exact same time (within milliseconds) of our background recurring scheduling processes, which could allow a small amount of same-day recurring transactions to have their ChMS recording process execute in parallel causing duplicates. OnlineGiving.org ChMS integrations already include features to prevent duplicates.
