NEW OnlineGiving.org > Embeddable Quick Give Widgets

We're pleased to announce that the new OnlineGiving.org > Control Panel > Quick Give Widgets are live! Church administrators may now quickly and easily create managed quick give widgets for embedding into church website pages for general or designated giving! The widgets are designed to be centralized and allow church administrators to easily manage which funds, sub-funds, amounts, or similar are displayed. The widget's purpose is to act as an (optional) springboard for church-giving landing pages, particularly special-giving landing pages. The design of the quick give widget is compact and can optionally include a header, footer, progress bar, quick give amounts, and much more.

Widgets are easy to embed by a website person/developer and easily managed by church administrators after they are embedded from the OnlineGiving.org control panel. For example, after a widget is embedded, a church administrator may change all of the widget settings, including the funds, quick give amounts, and progress bar all, and have the widget updated instantly without updating the web embed code.

Since the new OnlineGiving.org quick give widgets are a springboard to OnlineGiving.org, they work with both the OnlineGiving.org primary donation form (guest flow) and custom giving pages (guest mode required on custom giving pages). The quick give widgets springboard the end user with the corresponding donation form with the gift information automatically filled out.

NEW OnlineGiving.org > MinistryPlatform Single Sign-On (MPSSO.js) Script Enhanced to Support New Window Links

We're pleased to announce the OnlineGiving.org MinistryPlatform Single Sign-On (MPSSO.js) Script has been enhanced to honor opening links in new windows. Prior to the update, the OnlineGiving.org MP SSO script would open all links in the same browser window as the user clicked. The aim of the enhancement is to allow web developers to link open preferences (based on A link target attribute) to be honored, allowing web developers desired links to open in a new window as needed with full OnlineGiving.org MP SSO support. Please note this feature is now live for all MP churches that have added the MPSSO.js script to their church website. No action is required to start taking advance of this feature as the application update is automatic/global.
