Breeze ChMS > Automatic Refund and Bank Rejection Recording
We are pleased to report an update is now live that adds support for donation refund recording into Breeze ChMS! In the event, a donation is refunded or marked as a refund from the Online Giving control panel. The software will now record an offset refund contribution to Breeze ChMS. Additionally, in the event, your church uses the Process4Change (NMI) gateway, our software will automatically detect refunds and bank rejections and update the associated Online Giving donation record as refunded and record the offset refund contribution into Breeze ChMS. Refunds are recorded into Breeze ChMS with a negative donation and fund amount under the same criteria as the original donation record. However, the refund contribution will be recorded under a dedicated refund batch using the naming convention of "Refund OnlineGiving.org dd-mm-yyyy".
