Recurring Giving > Repeat Decline Cleaner Update:
An update is now live that updates the repeat decline cleaner for recurring schedules. Online Giving has a repeat decline cleaner that will automatically cancel a recurring gift schedule after 3 back to back declines without a change of a payment method. Based on recent North American Bancard feedback it appears Visa/Mastercard prefers the recurring gift be canceled after 2 declines. For this reason, we've updated the feature to reduce the number of back to back declines from 3 to 2. Moving forward the software will now automatically cancel any recurring gift that has 2 back to back declines with no change of payment method. Kindly note the donor is notified upon each decline via email and asked to log in and update their recurring gift.
