NEW OnlineGiving.org Mobile App Designer > Staging Environment for Church's to use for App Improvement Purposes
We are delighted to announce a new update for the OnlineGiving.org App Designer, which introduces a "Staging Environment" to complement the existing "Production Environment." This new feature allows churches to duplicate their app design and make changes in a separate staging environment without affecting the production environment. For example, church teams can now revamp their mobile app's look and content without disrupting the existing production design. Allowing the church team to also make changes to production while working on the staging revamp. Once satisfied with the staging changes, they can seamlessly apply the staged app design to the production environment and publish the updates.
Additionally, the "Save as Draft" feature now saves the current version of the App Designer content within the specific environment, while the "Save and Publish" function saves and publishes the current version into the live mobile application.
As part of this update, we have restricted the visibility of the "Review Environment" to the OnlineGiving.org support team, ensuring that church teams have full access to the "Production Environment" and "Staging Environment" versions in the App Designer.
