Optional Feature to Allow Planning Center Preferred Campus Updating (Overwriting)
An optional update is now live for Planning Center churches to allow the preferred campus to be updated (overwritten) when a donor or church administrator updates a profile in OnlineGiving.org. By default, the Planning Center integration is designed to push the preferred campus into Planning Center but not to overwrite the campus. This optional feature aims to allow a church to push a preferred campus into Planning Center for a donor profile when an existing campus is already present in Planning Center for the person. Expiring Card Notification Updated Globally to Only Cards associated with Active Recurring, Text Giving, or Chatbot
An update is now live that changes the expiring card notification globally for all churches to only send out expiring card notifications specifically to saved cards directly associated with an active recurring schedule, text giving, or the chatbot. Before the update, OnlineGiving.org sent out an expiring card notification for any saved card payment method expiring. Did you know? Card notifications are sent out only once per saved card within 30 days of the card expiration. The goal of the feature is to notify donors within 30 days of their card expiring to give them an easy opportunity to update the expiring card.
