We're pleased to announce an upgrade is now live to the mobile application for MinistryPlatform churches. The latest check-in flow adds support for easily checking into multiple events at the same time and selecting the desired event group role (when applicable). Based on church feedback we have now configured the new flow as the primary check-in feature! The new flow greatly reduces the number of steps required for individuals and households checking into multiple events. Additionally, the new flow also provides a simplified flow for single event check-in.
Please note: On 8/5/2020 the initial release of the new multi-event check-in flow was released with the option for choosing the legacy check-in or the new multi-event check-in. Based on church feedback, it was clear the new flow should replace the older single event check-in as it was far superior. For ease of updating, an update was deployed on 8/6/2020 to automatically upgrade all MP apps using check-in to have the new multi-event check-in.
How do we take advantage of the new multi-event check-in flow?
All MinistryPlatform mobile applications that linked to MP check-in have been automatically updated to take advantage of the new multi-event check-in. However, in order to view the latest mobile application version, you may need to kill the open application on your mobile phone and then open it again.
For iOS devices, swipe up and hold the home bar (or double-tap the physical home button) to access the app switcher, then swipe up on the mobile app to kill/close it, then open the app again to load the latest changes. For Andriod devices, swipe up and hold from the bottom of the screen (or tap the system navigation button) to access the app switcher, then swipe up on the mobile app to kill/close it, then open the app again to load the latest changes.
