New Enhancements to OnlineGiving.org MinistryPlatform Check Scanning MP Contact Matching > Default MP Congregation
We're pleased to announce that an update is live that enhances the OnlineGiving.org MinistryPlatform check scanning application MP Contact matching feature. The update supports automatically filtering matched contacts by the default Congregation ID configured on the OnlineGiving.org account. Please note this update only applies to those MP churches who have an OnlineGiving.org account that is configured to filter by a specific MP Congregation globally. Moving forward, churches with a default Congregation ID configured will only see MP external matches for contacts in the default congregation in the check scanning application.

The update supports automatically filtering matched contacts by the default Congregation ID configured on the OnlineGiving.org account. Please note this update only applies to those MP churches who have an OnlineGiving.org account that is configured to filter by a specific MP Congregation globally. Moving forward, churches with a default Congregation ID configured will only see MP external matches for contacts in the default congregation in the quick entry application.
New Enhancements to OnlineGiving.org External ChMS Quick Entry Check/Cash Matching
We're pleased to announce that an update is live that enhances the OnlineGiving.org integration for quick entry (check/cash) batches to streamline donor matching options for church administrators. The quick entry application will now filter external ChMS matches against local OnlineGiving.org matches by both email and external ChMS ID.
Before the update, the OnlineGiving.org quick entry application would search external ChMS providers for additional donor matches and then display those in addition to the local (OnlineGiving.org) donor matches, merging the matches based on email address.
Moving forward, the update ensures that no duplicates are displayed to the church administrator and that the external duplicate is not displayed anytime a local OnlineGiving.org match is already present.

The check scanning application will now filter external ChMS matches against local OnlineGiving.org matches by both email and external ChMS ID.
Prior to the update, the OnlineGiving.org check scanning application would search external ChMS providers for additional donor matches and then display those in addition to the local (OnlineGiving.org) donor matches, merging the matches based on email address.

New Enhancements to OnlineGiving.org MinistryPlatform Scanned Check Donation Recording
We're pleased to announce an update is now live that enhances the OnlineGiving.org integration for MinistryPlatform scanned check donation recordings. Moving forward, the OnlineGiving.org integration will place the scanned check number into the MinistryPlatform Donation Item Number field. Additionally, the "Check #" label in the merchant gateway response message field value has been relabeled "Check21 #" to avoid confusion. The latter (Check21 #) is the digital check number for the scanned check for the remote deposit, which should not be confused with the check number printed on the physical check now recorded under the MP Donation Item Number field.
