Mobile Application > MinistryPlatform Churches > Optional Feature to Set Default Groups Attendance Status in Mobile App
An optional update is now live and available to MinistryPlatform churches who have the Online Giving mobile application and use the MP My Group record attendance feature for group leaders. By default, the mobile application will select Attendance Status 04 (Confirm Attendance) from the attendance status picker on the record attendance mobile application page. An optional update is now available to change the default attendance status to any of the available such as 03 Checked-In or similar. To take advantage of this new optional feature please reach out to support@onlinegiving.org for the custom setting to be added to your account.
It's important to note - Once this feature is enabled for your account, you may need to close the open app on your device from the mobile device app switcher to view the latest changes. For iOS devices, swipe up and hold from the bottom of the screen to view app switcher (tasks manager), then swipe up on the open app to close, then open the app again to view the latest changes. For older iOS devices, double-tap the home button to view app switcher. For Android devices, tap the navigation button, then swipe up on the open app to close, then open the app again to view the latest changes.
Mobile Application > MinistryPlatform Churches > Optional Feature to All Time-In on 04 Attendance Participant Status
An optional update is now live and available to MinistryPlatform churches who have the Online Giving mobile application and use the MP My Group record attendance feature for group leaders. By default the mobile application only allows a time-in status to be recorded on a 03 Checked-In attendance status. However, a scenario may exist in which the church has changed the default 04 Confirm Attendance status to something custom that requires a time-in value. Church administrators may now request that attendance participant status 04 be allowed to have a time-in recorded for the mobile application group attendance feature.
