*NEW* OnlineGiving.org Chatbot > Text Message > Ability to Send "Expiring" and "Expired" Text Messages
We're pleased to report an enhancement to the OnlineGiving.org Chatbot for conversations over text messages. Church administrators may now optionally configure an "expired" and "expiring" message for a chatbot.
- The "expiring" message can be sent out with 15-30 minutes of the chatbot session expiring. We recommend church administrators desiring to use the feature to please draft the message to gently encourage the end-user to complete their chatbot conversation.
- The "expired" message once configured gets sent out within 10 minutes of a chatbot conversation session expiring. We recommend church administrators desiring to use the "expired" message to please crafted the message to let the end-user try again using the same keyword or similar.
- A church administrator may configure either of the new features from the OnlineGiving.org > Control Panel > Text Marketing > Chatbox > Edit Chatbot > Settings Tab (see below for example). It's important to note the "expiring" and "expired" message features are for conversations that are over the text message (SMS) channel only.
