Feature Updates 10/14/2024
New Feature: Option to Set a Start Date for Payments or Donations in OnlineGiving.org Custom Forms
We are excited to announce a new enhancement to OnlineGiving.org's Custom Forms! Administrators can now optionally configure a start date for payments or donations, offering greater flexibility for event-specific or future-dated transactions.
This new feature is perfect for managing future campaigns such as annual fundraisers, special holiday offerings, or school payments where contributions should not be processed immediately. By setting a start date, organizations gain more control over when payments are collected, ensuring they align with their specific needs.

OnlineGiving.org Enhanced Quick Entry & Scanned Checks Feature: Improved Display for Long Fund Names
We are excited to announce a new update to the Quick Entry and Scanned Checks features, focusing on better visibility for long fund or sub-fund names in the dropdown menu.
Previously, when administrators selected a fund or sub-fund with an especially long name, the name would be truncated, making it difficult to view the full selection. With this update, fund and sub-fund names will now wrap onto the next line, ensuring the entire name is visible at a glance. This enhancement is particularly helpful for church administrators during spot checks and other auditing tasks.
Additionally, we’ve moved the fund/sub-fund visual feedback indicator to the right of the selected option to prevent any overlap with the text. This ensures a cleaner, more user-friendly interface, making it easier to manage and review selected funds.
This update aims to streamline administrative tasks and provide a smoother experience when handling complex fund names. We’re confident this improvement will enhance the overall functionality of these tools.
Update - Expired Cards No Longer Displayed on Payment Forms - OnlineGiving.org
We are pleased to announce a new feature update aimed at enhancing the giving experience on OnlineGiving.org. From now on, any expired credit or debit cards will automatically be removed from payment and giving forms, including the primary donation form, custom giving pages, custom forms, and shopping cart checkout pages. This ensures that donors always have access to valid payment methods, streamlining the donation process.
Additionally, on the Giving Profile Page, any expired cards will now be clearly marked with an “Expired” message, providing donors with a simple and clear way to manage their payment methods.
Did you know? OnlineGiving.org offers an automatic card updater service for a nominal fee. This feature proactively detects cards approaching expiration and updates them automatically, ensuring uninterrupted donations and minimizing any disruption for your donors.
