NEW OnlineGiving.org > Mobile App > MinistryPlatform My Groups > Add New Group Member Minor Support
We're pleased to report an update is now live to the OnlineGiving.org Mobile App My Groups > Add New Group Member feature for MinistryPlatform churches to add support for adding a minor to a group. The mobile app now displays a "minor" checkbox on the "Add New Group Member" feature. When the "minor" checkbox is checked, the feature will display and require two additional fields: date of birth and gender. Additionally, when the "minor" checkbox is checked, the "email" and "mobile phone" fields become optional. When minor information is provided, the OnlineGiving.org MP Add Group Member integration will perform a match for an existing minor contact based on first name, last name, date of birth, and gender before creating a new contact record for the group.
It's important to note that mobile app users may need to close the open app from the mobile device app switcher to view the latest changes. For iOS devices, swipe up and hold from the bottom of the screen to view the app switcher (tasks manager), then swipe up on the open app to close, then open the app again to view the latest changes. For older iOS devices, double-tap the home button to view the app switcher. For Android devices, tap the navigation button, swipe up on the open app to close, and then open the app to view the latest changes.
