Guest Giving Enhanced with Passwordless Login for Repeat Guest Givers
We're pleased to announce an update is now live that enhances the "Give as Guest" for repeat givers. Our new enhanced guest giving flow can now detect repeat guest givers and provide them with access to saved payment methods without a password. While OnlineGiving.org provides numerous one-click sign-in methods such as Google, Facebook, Touch ID, and more, we understand specific donors prefer a guest checkout. For this reason, we've redesigned guest giving to remove the extra barriers by detecting repeat givers. The OnlineGiving.org guest donation flow is now enhanced to only ask for an email address and mobile phone number, including the necessary gift information such as amount, fund, etc.
If a repeat guest giver is detected by email or mobile phone, they get prompted to enter a short 4-digit code directly on the give as guest form. The code instantly grants the donor access to all of their saved payment methods and contact information. First-time guest givers are not required to enter a code to complete their gift. Instead, the software smartly displays any additional form fields necessary to complete the donation since they are new.
Your guest donors will love the new Give as Guest flow as it grants them instant access to their saved payment methods without a password. Kindly note the new guest giving flow applies to the primary "Give as Guest" donation form and any custom giving page that has guest enabled. This new feature has already been released and no update is required. Please reach out to support@onlinegiving.org should you have any questions.
