Feature Updates 11/05/2019
Mobile App > Push Notification Enhancements:
An update is now live that enhances the push notification feature with notification history and a bell icon. When a push notification is sent out, our platform will now obtain and cache the device delivery data in the background. The end result is that anytime the mobile app is opened or resumed (moved from the background to foreground) the app will now check for new notifications from our private history backend. We are now able to provide a list of the message delivered to that device (within the last 15 days, limited to notifications moving forward).
Accurate notification history is now possible independent of the system taskbar (or the push driver) due to our new advanced OneSignal delivery caching. In the event, one or more unread messages are detected the mobile app will now display a bell with a badge count on the top left of the app header next to the side menu icon. Once the user reads (or deletes) all of their messages the bell is hidden. Tapping the bell takes the mobile app user to the new push notification page. Additionally, all of the quoted push notification revisions are now live including the ability to view, search, and delete notification history. Notifications are now displayed on a detected push notification window/page.
