NEW OnlineGiving.org MinistryPlatform Widget Payments Single Sign-On Support
We're pleased to announce our next generation of single sign-on support is now live specifically for MP Widget Payments. The latest generation of single sign-on for MP Widget Payments uses the MP Widget authentication token directly to securely authenticate the user during the MP Checkout process before reaching OnlineGiving.org for checkout payment.
Using proprietary technology, the new OnlineGiving.org single sign-on for MP Widget Payments will silently login the MP Widget user to OnlineGiving.org in the background during the MP Widget Checkout process, which allows easy access to their saved payment methods at the time of checkout.
Please note the existing OnlineGiving.org MP Single Sign-On for giving links already contains similar functionality. This update pertains directly to single sign-on for the MP Widget Payment checkout experience. To take advantage of MP Widget single sign-on, the church must ensure the OnlineGiving.org MP Single Sign-On SCRIPT tag is installed correctly. Fortunately, our support team is here to help.
