Chatbot Record New MinistryPlatform Pledge Will Now Calculate Installments Planned and Installments Per Year
We're pleased to report an update is now live to the Online Giving Chatbot for MnistryPlatform churches using the "Create new Pledge" chatbot action. Church administrators may now create a new chatbot parameter (question) called "Frequency" and use the new "Frequency" data parser to ask end-users how often they will be making their pledge. e.g. Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly, etc. When the "Frequency" parameter is present the chatbot "Create new Pledge" action will now automatically calculate the "Installments Planned" and "Installments Per Year" field based on the MP Pledge Campaign Start Date and End Date. In the event, the End Date is null, the integration will assume a timeframe of 1 year from the Start Date. The goal of this update is to allow complete Pledge creation from the Chabot for MinistryPlatform churches including installment information.

Chatbot New "Frequency" Data Type Parser for Chatbot Parameters
A new data type parser called "Frequency" is now available for Chatbot Parameters in the Online Giving Control Panel > Chatbot Builder. The new "Frequency" data parser is designed to parse an answer on common frequencies such as One-Time, Weekly, Twice Weekly, Monthly, Twice Monthly (1st and 15th), Quarterly, and Yearly. We've given the new parser some AI with the ability to accept common variants of each type of frequency for maximum flexibility in accepting text answers.
