Planning Center Integration > Address Updating and New Address Creation
We're pleased to report an integration upgrade is now live that adds address updating support for Planning Center enabled churches. The update extends our Planning Center integration to allow for address checking and creation for both new and existing Planning Center People matches. Moving forward the software will now check the associated Planning Center Person record for the donor's street address. In the event the street address is not found, the software will insert the address onto the Planning Center person's profile.
Mobile App > MinsitryPlatform > My Gruops > Create Group Meeting Feature
We're pleased to report the new "Create Group" meeting feature is now live for the mobile application. The new feature allows Ministry Platform group leaders to create new MP Group Meetings. Group meetings can be onetime or repeat in a similar format to the MP Portal > Create Group Meeting feature with options for both weekly and monthly recurring meetings. Upon submission by the mobile app group leader, the software will create the initial (start) meeting and then queue the recurring meeting creation. The background queuing of the repeat meetings allows for a faster response to the group leader and for a higher level of MP API fault tolerance as our background queues are designed to automatically retry failed MP requests with an incremental delay. The end result is a fast group leader experience for creating new meetings no matter if it's a one-time meeting or 100 meetings.
