NEW OnlineGiving.org Check Scanning Automatic Check Return Detection
We're pleased to announce an update is now live to the OnlineGiving.org Check Scanning (BETA) feature, which allows our platform to scan and detect scanned check returns. Moving forward, OnlineGiving.org will scan twice daily for any scanned checks returned within the last 10 days. If a returned check is found, OnlineGiving.org will now automatically update the transaction with a "Bank Rejected" status, including updating the gateway response with the return reason, code, and date. Additionally, OnlineGiving.org will notify the donor via email of the returned check and push the return into the external ChMS (when applicable). Finally, OnlineGiving.org will place a task message into the OnlineGiving.org control panel task manager for church donation administrators.
