Feature Updates 11/24/2020
New Event Metric Management in the OnlineGiving.org Mobile Application for MinistryPlatform
We're pleased to report an update is now live for the OnlineGiving.org Mobile Application for MinistryPlatform churches that enhances the application with MP Event Metric Management. An example of this feature would be to view and/or record headcounts for events from within the mobile application. Church administrators may now link to the feature in the Online Giving Control Panel App Designer using the "MP Event Metrics Screen (requires sign-in with special MP security role)" link type option. The feature requires the mobile app individual to be signed in with a MinistryPlatform User account with the "Event Management Team" MP Security Role. Churches may reach out to support@onlinegiving.org to have this MP Security Role changed to any MP Role they desire. The new feature will display events that are currently active that have started or recently ended within 12 hours. Authorized mobile application individuals can view existing Event Metrics and Create New Metrics from within the new feature. We've included a detailed video walkthrough below that overviews the new feature in greater detail for your convenience.

Chatbot New Rock RMS SMS Enabled Phone Matching
An update is now live to the chatbot for Rock RMS churches using the Online Giving chatbot. We're pleased to report an update is now live that enhances the Online Giving chatbot to allow contact matching based on the inbound text message phone number provided by Twilio. When the auto-fill option is enabled for a Chatbot Parameter, and Online Giving cannot locate a local verified match, the integration will now query the church's Rock RMS system in the foreground, looking for a matching SMS Enabled phone number. For security purposes, the software will only allow a match on Rock's phone number if the number is unique and SMS enabled. If multiple Rock RMS people contain the phone number, a match is not assumed, and the auto-fill will tell the chatbot to prompt the end-user for their information. As always, church administrators may use the auto-fill with the prompt confirmation option to allow end-users to confirm the matched contact information, including first name (or nickname), last name, campus, and email. Please note no action is required to enable the feature as the feature is enabled by default for all Rock RMS churches.
