NEW OnlineGiving.org Gateway for Rock RMS — Fully Native & Feature-Complete for Rock v16.13+
We’re excited to introduce the new 100% native OnlineGiving.org Merchant Gateway for Rock RMS (v16.13+)—a full-featured, fully integrated, and future-proof giving solution built specifically for Rock churches.
Note: This new native gateway replaces the previous OnlineGiving.org redirect-based gateway. The older redirect gateway will remain supported for existing churches during their migration period, and the upgrade process is straightforward. Any Rock RMS church running version 16.13 or higher is encouraged to contact support@onlinegiving.org to schedule a free update, during which our team will configure the new native gateway for you.
With Rock 16.13+ now supporting both the regular and Early Access tiers, every church can take advantage of a gateway that delivers the depth of NMI and goes significantly further—supporting both Obsidian and legacy blocks, modern wallets, full ACH capabilities, and advanced reconciliation features.
This gateway isn’t just an integration. It’s built to be your church’s long-term native Rock RMS payment platform, backed by our commitment to ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and deep alignment with the Rock ecosystem.

About Rock RMS Native Giving Blocks
Our gateway is so full-featured that it even supports Rock RMS’s native giving blocks in addition to standard payment entry blocks. This ensures flexibility and compatibility for churches using legacy flows, or planning on migrating to OnlineGiving.org platform. However, we do not recommend using Rock’s native giving blocks for your primary donor experience. While our gateway supports them technically, the overall UX of Rock’s built-in giving flow is outside of our control and is a noticeable downgrade compared to the optimized OnlineGiving.org giving platform. For best results, we encourage churches to use the OnlineGiving.org giving platform for donor-facing giving, while relying on the new OnlineGiving.org gateway for Rock RMS for payments which we think makes the perfect Rock RMS integration.
