*NEW* Church Metrics > Donation Report for Planning Center Churches
We're pleased to report an update is now live that brings our popular Church Metrics Donation Report to churches using Planning Center! Church Metrics, based on the need for tracking generosity in both the physical and digital realm. Planning Center is now supported along with MinistryPlatform, Rock RMS, and Church Community Builder! The new Church Metrics Donation report is now available in beta in the Online Giving church control panel and is based purely on ChMS data.
The new Church Metrics Donation Report answers those hard questions of how generosity is shifting on a daily timeline and is based on ChMS data and not just Online Giving originating transactions. Using this new report, church financial and pastoral leadership can quickly gain a snapshot of their church stewardship's health. The report includes a wealth of essential metrics including (but not limited to) --
- Breakdown of Giving by ChMS Accounts: View grand totals and interactive charting of donations by ChMS accounts (aka programs or funds) over a timeline.
- Breakdown of Giving by ChMS Payment Types: View grand totals and interactive charting of donations by ChMS payment types, which include all payment types, not just digital such as cash, check, credit card, electronic check (ACH), and a timeline. Easily visualize trends on a timeline of giving payment types to see the flow of funds by traditional (physical) and digital mediums.
- Breakdown of New & Active ChMS Contacts: View grand totals and interactive charting of new contacts, active contacts, and inactive contacts for a timeline. View donation totals and average gifts from new vs. existing contacts or recurring vs. one-time giving and much more.
- Breakdown of ChMS Weekly Amounts: View grand totals and interactive charting of the Church weekly giving to measure performance weekly easily.
- Breakdown of ChMS Financial Growth: View annual and monthly grand totals and interactive timelines of monthly and yearly giving via our ChMS financial growth report. View your growth for the last five years in a single easy to read chart!
These new metrics include grand totals and interactive daily timelines for visualizing trends for specific report criteria. The result was church leaders' ability to quickly view a snapshot of their entire giving without the traditional manual method of exporting spreadsheets or generating complex graphs on Excel or similar. Wait, there is more! Providing metrics for the current year is excellent. Though having the same metrics be retroactive for the last five years is way better! With that in mind, we're pleased to announce the new metric donation report is fully retroactive and goes back a whopping five years into your ChMS data! Our retroactive support furnishes church administrators the ability to quickly pull timeline reports for various periods in the past for performance comparison against current events.
