Mobile App & Website Widgets > MinistryPlatform Event Registration Active Changes
An update is now live to the Online Giving Mobile Application and website widget event finder for MinistryPlatform churches that will now require either an MP External Registration URL or a Registration Product be present for the event to be qualified as "Registration Active." The MP field "Registration Active" alone will no longer qualify an event as having "open registration" since MP requires either an external URL or a product registration to be present for event registration. The goal of this update is to avoid any confusion by showing events with "Registration Active = True" but not having either an external registration URL or product registration.
It's important to note - Mobile app users may need to close the open app on their device from the mobile device app switcher to view the latest changes. For iOS devices, swipe up and hold from the bottom of the screen to view the app switcher (tasks manager), then swipe up on the open app to close, then open the app again to view the latest changes. For older iOS devices, double-tap the home button to view the app switcher. For Android devices, tap the navigation button, swipe up on the open app to close, and then open the app to view the latest changes.
