New Look & Feel (UI) for Giving Websites

We are very pleased to announce a new user interface is now available for churches. The new look and feel can be previewed on our demostration website and is available for any church at production quality level. Over the next 1-2 weeks we will be migrating all church websites over to the new user interface as it contains vast improvements for usability (for all ages) on all devices using the latest design standards.

A great deal of research and designed has been placed into our new donation form. The new donation form is more compact, straightforward and simple. It's designed to allow the donor to focus more on bits of information allowing the entire donation process to be more natural and easy for all ages. The best way to check it out is to try it. So head on over to our demostration website and try it out! The new design is familiar but fresh.

We Now Monitor Real Time Client Side (Web Browser) Errors

Since day one Online Giving's support and development staff has monitored real time reporting for cloud based (server) errors on our giving platform. Real time reporting notifies our support staff within seconds of any issue happening in the platform with a detailed breakdown/report.

We're pleased to announce with our new look and feel (UI) we are extending that real time reporting into the client web browser. Online Giving will now receive reports of errors in the client web browser in addition to our existing Google cloud server monitoring. The update further allows our support staff to monitor the giving experience for church donors 24/7/365 in real time.

New Hybrid Help & Registration Message for Text Message

An update is now live that adds upgrades our text message platform with a hybrid help and registration message. The hybrid help/registration message is designed for churches who use both text giving and text marketing features. A church is using both text giving and text marketing features in the event they have 1 or more text marketing keywords created in their control panel.

A hybrid message is designed to combine the existing help or registration message for text giving with a more generic message for text marketing features. The update allows the user to get a help or registration message that is relevant to both text marketing and text giving.

For clarification purposes please note that "text marketing" is not the same as "text giving". Text marketing is the section of text keywords that are designed for sending marketing auto responses for non-giving. You may manage your text marketing keywords in the Online Giving control panel > under Text Marketing. Text giving keywords are still located under the Online Giving control panel > Funds/Sub-Funds.

Text Marketing Keywords Now Displayed on Text Help Page

An update is now live that adds a section on the text message page with a list of marketing keywords. In the event a church has 1 or more text marketing keywords they will now be displayed under the text giving keywords table for easy reference. The update extends into the text keyword page sent out in the text marketing and text giving help messages.

Optional Gift Description Now Included in Recurring Gifts

An update is now live that upgrades our recurring gifts feature to allow optional gift descriptions to be included in recurring gifts. Prior to the update optional gift descriptions were limited to same-day transactions. Moving forward any recurring gift that includes an optional gift description will now be included on future recurring transactions and pushed into ChMS donations as needed.

Shelby Next CSV Spreadsheet Format Added as Export Option

An update is now live that adds Shelby Next CSV Spreadsheet as an export option for donations in the Online Giving control panel.

Ability to Restrict Payment Add to Custom Forms

An update is now live that upgrades our custom forms payment feature to allow administrators to restrict payment type to card or electronic check (ACH) only. Custom forms can now be setup to only accept card payments and/or electronic check payments. The goal of the upgrade is to allow the church to further optimize custom giving pages to best fit their campaign needs.
