Feature Updates for December 22nd 2017
Form Submissions Email Notifications Updated with Payment/User Information
An update is now live that adds payment and user information to custom form email notifications. In the event a payment is accepted with the custom form, the payment information including amount, fund, sub-fund, email will be included in the email notification to the church administrator. Additionally, in the event user is signed in on the custom form their first/last name, email and address is now included on the email notification to the church administrator. Custom form email notifications can be setup under the settings panel when creating/editing a custom form. Churches may supply one or more email addresses per custom form that should receive email notifications upon form submissions. Prior to the update payment and user information was only located in the control panel and not included in the custom form submission email notifications.
MP Churches - Automatic Email Updating for MP Credentials Sign-in & Single Sign-on (SSO)
We are pleased to announce an upgrade is now live that extends our MP integration to add automatic email updating. In the event a donor signs into Online Giving using their MP Portal Username/Password (credentials) or via single sign-on (SSO token), the system will now automaticly check their MP contact record for email changes. Online Giving will now check the email address located on the MP contact record against the OG donor profile email address and update as needed.
Additionally, we have an optional feature that churches can request to be enabled that will check for email updates for recurring donations. The optional update adds the email check/update to our recurring transaction ensuring that recurring donors have the most current email on file for recurring email notifications. MP churches will find this upgrade very handy for those who have single sign-on enabled and/or promote signing into Online Giving using their MP portal credentials.
Unlike our competitors we consider our ChMS integrations alive and always improving. The MP upgrade is part of our continual goal of MP integration growth and excellence.
MP Churches - Automatic Syncing of MP Pledges for Imported Campaigns
An update is now live that adds automatic syncing of MP pledges for imported campaigns. The syncing will now take places automatically daily. Additionally, editing the primary fund in Online Giving will also trigger a sync to execute within a few moments of the form submission. The goal of the update is to further automate the pledge update process for MP imported pledge campaigns.
MP Churches - MP Program Name Included in Drop down Menus
An update is now live that adds automatic the MP program and to associated MP program drop down menus in the control panel for all MP REST API enabled churches. Technically speaking prior to the update the software was forced to display only the program id and statement title due to the older style MP SOAP SQL stored procedures that limited the readability of columns to the SQL. The MP REST API allows Online Giving to read additional useful data and fields that may have required a SQL procedure with the MP Soap API. MP churches will now see the MP program id, name and statement title when selecting MP programs in the control panel.
Rock RMS - Transaction Source
An update is now live that extends our advanced direct donation recording for Rock RMS. Online Giving will now automatically supply transaction "gift source" information such as web, kiosk, text message or Facebook Messenger when recording donations into Rock RMS.
