Email Notifications for Task Manager
An update is now live that upgrades our task manager feature to allow churches to subscribe to email notifications for new tasks. In the event a new task is created by the system the software will not send a email notification to the elected email address for notification. An example of a typical task notification may be a ACH transaction status change, refund performed or an optional gift description was supplied. Please note this feature is optional and not enabled by default. To take advantage of this new feature please us today at support@onlinegiving.org with the desired email address for the task notifications.
Donations Pending 3+ Days Now Added Task Manager
An update is now live that upgrades our MP integration. In the event a donation is pending MP recording for 3+ days (and within 60 days) it is added to the Online Giving task manager for further review. To goal of the update is to more easily bring pending MP contributions to church administrator attention for quick resolution.
Online Giving background records all ChMS donations and will automatically retry failed recordings at an incremental delay for a period of time. A donation that is pending MP recording for 3+ days may be the result of an unreachable MP API server or an Invalid MP User ID that cannot be auto corrected. As always a church administrator can quickly filter out pending MP donations in the Online Giving control panel under Donations > More Filters > Pending MP Donations. MP User Matching Enhanced
An update is now live that upgrades our MP integration user matching. Using the new MP REST API the software now uses a multi-factor approach for search and matching MP contacts/users. The same great user matching still exists. However, we've extended it to also be able to match by email alone on the users table. The new enhancement allows for direct match on unique MP user email should the first and last name of the donor not match. To take advantage of this upgrade you'll need to have both the MP Soap API and MP REST API configured for your account. Contact today to take advantage of this new free enhancement.
Invalid MP User ID Auto Correction
An update is now live that upgrades our MP integration. Using the new MP REST API the software is now able to auto correct MP User ids that have become invalid on the donors profile. Typically a MP User ID can become invalid in the event the user is merged in MP and the older record is kept (vs the newer record). Online Giving has been upgraded to detect invalid MP User IDs and auto search for the updated contact. To take advantage of this upgrade you'll need to have both the MP Soap API and MP REST API configured for your account. Contact today to take advantage of this new free enhancement.
MP Rest API Setup Notification
Ministry Platform enabled church will now be notified upon sign-in of the Online Giving control panel to contact us for setup of their MP REST API (if needed). The new MP REST API setup is required to take advantage of Online Giving's new MP integration features to serve to enhance auto matching and invalid MP id correcting. We'll take care of the setup for you. All we need is a email to get started in obtaining the required credentials.
