Text Marketing Ministry Platform Event Participant Interest
An update is now live that adds integration features for Ministry Platform to the Text Marketing feature. MP churches can now associate an MP Event to a Text Marketing auto responder. Once an event is associated the software will attempt to record event participation interest for matching inbound text messages. The inbound text message is auto matched from either MP User data or contact mobile phone information in the MP database. In the event the matching contact has a participant record id, the software will proceed with recording event interest for that participant.
Text Marketing Ministry Platform Single Sign On
An update is now live that extends integration features for Ministry Platform to the Text Marketing feature. MP Churches can now enable Online Giving to single sign-on MP portal links in Text Marketing auto responders. When enabled the software will scan the auto responder message for MP portal links and automatically rewrite those links with shortened single sign-on links. Please note that for security purposes single sign-on links are only made available to registered text givers who have a MP User ID on their profile. Further, for ideal security the single sign-on links are setup to expire after a period of time.
Churches who desire to use the Text Marketing feature for event registration messages will find this new feature very useful as it allows their users to skip MP portal sign-in in the event they are a registered text giver. In the event a user is not a registered text giver the URLs remain the provided portal links as a fallback. Churches can use this feature in combination with the MP event participant interest feature above to enhance their Text Marketing campaigns.
Express Donations
An update is now live that adds a new feature to our platform called Express Donations. Express Donations are included free of charge with every account and specifically designed for church web developers who have a need to handoff a gift with the donor to be returned back their website for further processing. An example of this might be a split form scenario where a church collects specific information, then sends the donor to complete their gift and finalizes the collected information upon return of the donor.
