MP Payment Recording Support Added for Online Giving Funds/Sub-Funds
An update is now live that adds payment recording to our Ministry Platform (MP) integration. Churches may now set a fund/sub-fund to record as a MP payment instead of a MP donation. MP churches may now use this feature to accept payments things using text giving, donation form, etc. In the event a transaction is completed that is associated with a Online Giving fund/sub-fund that is elected as a MP payment, then we'll record the transaction as a payment in MP instead of a donation.
Kindly note the use of this feature requires the church to contact us to enable MP REST API integration and to setup a separate bank deposit for payments vs donations.
MP Event Payments with MP Form Support Added to Online Giving
An update is now live that adds MP event payment features to our Ministry Platform (MP) integration. Churches may now contact us to obtain a special link that can be used with MP event IDs to accept payments for MP at Online Giving. A church may wish to use these links on their website as it allows church members to make payments using their saved payment methods from any existing donation. Payment recording under these special links supports recording form responses, event participation, opportunities, invoices, products and payment detail options. We are pleased to announce that using these special links Online Giving can read and display MP custom forms for accepting payments.
