Pay As You Go Account Control Panels Updated with Detailed Payout History
An update is now live for pay-as-you-go customers that adds the ability to view payout (deposit) history directly in the control panel. Pay-as-you-go accounts can now click the "View Payouts" button from the control panel view donations page to view full history of deposit payouts include a drill down of transactions with amount, fees and net totals. Please note this update only applys for accounts that are pay-as-you-go and do not have a full (traditional) merchant account with a separate gateway control panel.
Administrators Can Now Merge Online Giving Donor Profiles in Control Panel
An update is now live that gives the donation administrator the ability to merge two donors into a single profile. An administrator may want to merge two donor profiles in the event they use single sign on for their ChMS integration such as MP or they notice a duplicate donor profile that is dated and no longer used. The new merger user feature easily allows an administrator to select two donors for merging. The administrator can then select which fields to keep for the merged user. Online Giving takes care of the rest auto updating recurring gifts, payment methods, donations, form submissions and more.
Optional Feature Added to Set Custom Help Message Response for Text Messages
An optional update is now live that allows the administrator to set a custom help message response for text messages. By default Online Giving configures this message for you and specifically details instructions for text giving. A few weeks ago we released our new text marking feature allowing churches to add custom keyword messages for marketing purposes. The text marketing feature allows churches to extend the functionality of their text giving phone number to add marketing auto responders. The update this week allows the administrator to customize the help message. A church who uses both text giving and text marketing may find it useful to customize their help message to be more generic than just text giving. The custom help message update this week allows the church to do just that. Any church who wishes to take advantage of this feature can do so by contact us on support line at support@onlinegiving.org. Since this is an optional feature it's not enabled by default unless the church specifically requests the change.
Improvements to Administrator Sign-in as Donor Feature
An update is now live that improves the functionality of the sign-in as donor feature for church administrators. Prior to the update an administrator would have to sign into the administration panel again after impersonating a donor to manage their giving website. The upgrades this week now allow the administrator to impersonate the donor on the giving website while maintaining their administrative session. Meaning, no more having to sign back in as an administrator. Church administrators can now simply impersonate donors on the fly and return the the control panel for easy donor website management.
Virtual Terminal Add to Control Panel
An update is now live that adds a virtual terminal to the control panel. Church administrators may now easily charge donations to both existing and new donors directly from the Online Giving control panel. Administrators can search for donors based on name and email and automaticly create new donors in the event an existing donor is not found. The virtual terminal is designed to streamline the process of manually processing gifts for donors for those churches who accept card numbers and otherwise on paper slips. Please note that first name, last name, email address and address information is required to complete a donation on behalf of a donor. The required information is to ensure the church has proper contact information and a donation receipt is sent to the donor and for ChMS recording purposes.
Optional Feature Added to Display Custom Mesage on Gift Thank You Page
An optional update is now live that allows the administrator to set a cusotm mesage for display on the thank you page dirctly above the standard thank you page card/section. To take advantage of this feature the please submit a support request of the feature including the optional message you would like displayed.
