Rock RMS Plugin Update - Online Giving to Rock RMS SSO Support Added
We are pleased to announce an updated version of our Rock RMS plugin is now live and available for download in the Rock Shop. The plugin update extends our technology with single sign-on from Online Giving to Rock RMS. Prior to the update single sign-on was limited from Rock RMS into Rock RMS. We pleased to announce we now support full circle single sign-on. The new Online Giving to Rock RMS single sign-in will allow Linked SSO Rock RMS churches to redirect donors to the Rock RMS giving history page without Rock RMS sign-in. Additionally, our upcoming Rock RMS native mobile application integration will be using full circle single sign-on for seamless integration of event registration and similar.
Rock RMS Mission Trip Support Added
An update is now live that adds mission support for Rock RMS churches. Rock RMS church administrators will now see an "Import Mission Trip" wizard button on the top right of the manage funds page of the control panel. The new missions import wizard is designed to allow church administrators to easily import mission trip giving. Once a mission trip is imported its participant (sub-funds) are automatically updated once daily. Additionally, special support was for Rock RMS churches using Embedded SSO to allow replacement of mission trip giving on their Rock RMS external website. For Embedded SSO Rock RMS churches the import wizard is not required. Instead once installed on to the Rock RMS external website the software will automatically import the required mission trip information on demand. Churches using Rock RMS Embedded SSO giving should contact support to schedule their free installation. Additionally, churches may learn more about our import wizard by checking out the updated Rock RMS User Guide in the knowledge base located in giving website control panels.

Rock RMS Automatic Address Updating:
An update is now live that updates our Rock RMS integration to push over address information when added or updated by the donor. Online Giving takes it a step further with a smart approach to address updating. Our address updating feature will first check for any existing home addresses that match and only proceed if a match is not found. In the event an existing home addresses match is not found, then the system will create a new home address for the donor in Rock RMS. The goal is to add address information (data) into the Rock and to never remove existing data and to avoid family group address duplicates (when possible).
Kindly note that address information is still required from the donor when completing the first gift with Online Giving. This design is on purpose and ensures that Online Giving has the most accurate address on file for the donation allowing for the very best card processing rates possible. Once we have an address, our system will not ask the donor again. As before the donor may update their address anytime via the Giving Profile page. Additionally, as a courtesy to our Rock churches, we have retroactively pushed over addresses for all donor profiles using the logic outlined above.
Rock RMS Automatic Email Updating:
An update is now live that updates our Rock RMS integration to push over updated email addresses. In the event a donor updates their giving profile with a different email address, the software will also update the email address for the person in Rock. Additionally, Rock RMS churches using our Linked SSO or Embedded SSO will have automatic email updating for donors when they access any of the embedded (or linked SSO) giving pages in the background. Online Giving will scan for email address change for the donor when any embedded SSO or linked SSO page is loaded from the Rock.
Rock RMS Automatic First & Last Name Updating:
An update is now live that updates our Rock RMS integration to push over updated first/last name information from the donor giving profile page.
Rock RMS Automatic Campus Updating:
An update is now live that updates our Rock RMS integration to push over campus information for a donor. Online Giving will now check the associated Rock RMS person profile for a campus after a donation is completed. In the event no campus is found, then the software will populate the campus based on the donor's preferred campus in Online Giving. Additionally, in the event a donor changes their preferred campus on the donor giving profile page it's pushed over to their Rock RMS person profile (overwrites any existing campus).
Rock RMS Default Status of Web Prospect added to New Person Creation:
An update is now live that updates our Rock RMS integration to set all new people created in Rock RMS from Online Giving with the default status of "Web Prospect".
Native Mobile Application App Designer Updated to Support Custom Forms and Custom Giving Pages:
An update is now live that updates our amazing app design for native mobile applications with the ability to select custom giving pages and custom forms when selecting a "link" for designer components such as images, buttons, etc. The update now allows custom giving pages and custom forms to easily be natively embedded into the mobile application. Prior to the update giving was limited to the primary donation form in the application. Churches may now additionally add special custom giving pages such as Mission trip giving into their mobile application.
New Event Trigger Action: Send Email Notification to Supplied Email:
An update is now live that updates our event trigger feature with a new action to send an email notification to an email address supplied by the administrator. Prior to the update church administrators could set up a text message or email notification action to donors. The update extends this functionality allowing church administrators to supply an email address directly to allow the ability to set up internal (staff) related notifications based on matching donation criteria such as gift amount, the fund (or sub-fund), first time giver and more.
Text Marketing Auto Responder - MP Auto Event Registration:
An update is now live that updates our text marketing autoresponder MP event registration integration to allow church administrators to set up a secondary response message for users that could be auto-registered based on inbound numbers for events. Prior to the update, the autoresponder feature supported a single message no matter if the user could be auto-registered for an MP event. With the recent changes, the feature has been updated to allow church administrators to supply a different message to be sent instead of the default message for users that could be auto-registered for MP events. In other words, registered users can now get a custom message telling them they are now registered and users not able to be auto-registered will still get the standard message for the autoresponder containing registration information. The end result is a text marketing feature that allows for text to register feature making mobile event registration extremely easy.
