Mobile App > MP My Groups > Ability for Group Leaders to Remove Group Members
An update is now live that upgrades the mobile app MP My Groups feature with the ability for a group leader to remove a group member from a group. To remove a group member, the leader can view the member under the MP My Groups screen/page in the mobile app. When viewing the group member a new option is displayed to "Remove Group Member". Tapping the "Remove Group Member" option will display a confirmation prompt to confirm the request and process the removal. The actual removal is in the form of an end-date being set on the MP Group Participant record. The end-date is set to the date/time of the removal request from the mobile application.
Mobile App > MP My Groups > Ability for Group Leaders to Update Group Description
An update is now live that upgrades the mobile app MP My Groups feature to allow group leaders to edit the group description from directly within the mobile app. Group leaders will now see an "Edit Description" button displayed directly above the group description in the mobile app under the MP My Groups > Group Detail screen.
Mobile App > MP My Groups > Optional Feature to Hide Group Member Contact Information from Non-Group-Leaders
An update is now live that upgrades the mobile app MP My Groups feature to optionally hide/remove the display of the group member contact information to non-group-leaders. Please note this feature is optional and disabled by default. Once enabled, the feature hides/removes the display of phone numbers, addresses of the group member. The group member profile image, name and group role is still displayed. Additionally, group leaders can still view all of the contact information since they are a leader of the group and require it for group management.
Mobile App > MP My Groups > Optional Feature to BCC Send Group Member Mass Email
An update is now live that upgrades the mobile app MP My Groups feature to optionally change the send group mass email feature to supply the list of emails as a BCC vs a TO. Please note this feature is optional and disabled by default. Once enabled, the feature places the selected group member emails into a BCC field on the native phone's email composer for enhanced privacy.
