Anonymous Giving on Custom Giving Pages for Ministry Platform Churches

An update is now live for Ministry Platform (MP) churches that upgrade our custom giving pages feature to add the ability for anonymous giving. MP Church administrators may now update their custom giving pages to enable a "make my gift anonymous" checkbox for custom giving pages. In the event a donor uses (checks) the anonymous checkbox, then the software will record the donation into Ministry Platform with Anonymous set to True for the donation record. The purpose of the update is to allow mission trip or similar custom giving pages to have an anonymous flag. The new feature is now live and available in the online giving control panel to all Ministry Platform enabled churches.

Sign-In with Phone Number Added to Authentication Pages

Donors may now sign-in to make a gift by clicking the "Log In with Phone Number" link/button now displayed on the donation log in page for those churches who use direct linking to their Online Giving website. Donors who use the new sign-in with phone number feature will be allowed to type in their 10-digit US phone number and receive a 4-digit confirmation code to sign-in. Online Giving verifies the 10-digit phone number against registered text giving accounts on the system. In the event the phone number is found to a registered text giving account and the confirmation code is correct, the donor is automatically signed into their account. Additionally, for Ministry Platform (MP) churches the new feature takes it a step further by searching for MP contacts containing a matching mobile phone. In the event, an MP contact is matched via phone number and contains an MP User account, the software will auto-register (if needed) and log in the donor to make a gift (text giving not required for MP match).

Donation Form Updated with Additional "Add a New Payment Method" link under Existing Payment Method Display

Based on feedback from churches with older donors we've updated the donation forms to display an additional "Add a new payment method" link under the display of an existing (saved) payment method. Donors may now click either the "Change" button on the existing (saved) payment method or the new "Add a New Payment Method" to add a new payment method when giving. Kindly note this update only applies to signed in donors who have completed donations as it directly relates to the saved payment method display.

Additional Donations Spreadsheet (CSV) Download Option Available

An update is now live that adds an additional spreadsheet download format for donations named "Export CSV Spreadsheet (Generic)". The new format is designed to be more generic for importing into the various application and for use in Excell. Kindly note exporting donations should only be used for those churches do not use a ChMS with direct integration. Direct integration is always preferred as that allows Online Giving to record donations directly into the external ChMS application (no export required).

Recurring Schedules Export Updated with Fund/Sub-Fund Title Columns

An update is now live that upgrades our recurring schedules export spreadsheet with the fund and sub-fund titles (see attached). You may now view the fund and sub-fund title in the spreadsheet when exporting recurring donation schedules from the control panel.

New Options for Event Trigger Gift Amount Based on Cumulative (Overal) Gift Amount

We are pleased to announce upgrades to our popular Event Trigger feature in the control panel. When creating (or editing) an event trigger you will now see a new drop-down menu for gift amount type that displays the following options:

Single Gift Amount. Trigger on Every Occurrence:

Selecting this option will trigger a notification based on the transaction amount and executes for every donation.
Use this option to have a notification sent out based on gift amount anytime a matching donation is completed.

Single Gift Amount. Trigger Only on First Occurrence:

Selecting this option will trigger a notification based on the transaction amount and executes only on the first matching donation.
Use this option to have a notification sent out based on gift amount for the first the donation reaching this amount. Does not repeat.

Cumulative (Overall) Gift Amount. Trigger on Every Occurrence:

Selecting this option will trigger a notification based on the donor's overall gift amount and executes for every donation.
Use this option to have a notification send out based on overall gift amount anytime a donation is completed.

Cumulative (Overall) Gift Amount. Trigger Only on First Occurrence:

Selecting this option will trigger a notification based on the donor's overall gift amount and executes only on the first donation over the cumulative total.
Use this option to have a notification sent out based on overall gift amount for the first the donation reaching the overall amount threshold. Does not repeat.

New Payment Processor Options for Pay-As-You-Go ($15 Plan) Churches

We are pleased to announce we have new payment processor options available to smaller $15 (pay-as-you-go) churches. We've been working hard to partner with PaymentSpring (a Nelnet company) to offer new credit/debit card and electronic check (ACH) processor options for smaller churches. Our new partnership allows smaller churches to have a dedicated merchant account and accept both credit/debit cards and electronic check (ACH) donations. Additionally, the new options include end-of-month billing and a dedicated payment gateway control panel. Rock RMS Mobile Application Integration Now Offered

Our mobile application framework has been upgraded to include deep Rock RMS integration for mobile application customers. New mobile application Rock RMS integration features include an event calendar, groups finder, campus finder, in-app event registrations and more.
